The New Rules and Regulation Update Session that was presented at the Cobb County Safety Village at the end of February is available for viewing. Cobb TV recorded the presentation. It is about an hour and 20 minutes long and covers the changes in the regulations pertaining to most food service establishments. Just turn up the volume and glean!

Inspector Impersonation Alert!
Occasionally, the health department will receive a report from a food service operator that someone impersonating a health inspector has tried to gain access to his or her facility. Last week, we received such a report, and fortunately, the reporting operator informed the person that he would be notifying the police and the person quickly left.
As a result, we wanted to share a short clip from our Food Safety Partnership Panel on Food Defense that presents important reminders in this area for food service operators and their staff.
